Hayastan Revisited
Another amazing week in Hayastan..... and we traveled to so many places and experienced so many unique things that it is hard to organize everything which has taken place in the last week. Even more, at the risk of being ambiguous, I have seen so many beautiful things, witnessed so many incredible landscapes, and observed such an amazing program of events, to say the least, I am completely overwhelmed. Even more, it has only been 2 years since I was here last, and in this short time, I have already forgotten how pleasantly different things work here. It's good to be back!
Living in the states has many awesome things that are associated with it….We all know what these things are, and after a few weeks away from them, these things are appreciated. However, Hayastan has its own set of amazing things, and to witness them after coming back from the states is truly a gift. Living in the states we don't really ever have the opportunity to experience so many of the wonderful things that take place here on a daily basis, and if they do take place, we aren't able to understand or notice them.
Just in this last week, I have taken over 300 pictures, and I wish I could share more than a few with you. The few that I have a chosen will hopefully convey the reason for such a lack of words. More realistically though, nothing that I can write or any picture that I take can adequately substitute for what Hayastan is.… The best thing to do is come here for yourself and check it out. I was told this last week, that, as long as you are secure,, Hayastan is the best place in the world to live, and there is no other way or place to be....
